A History of the UBM
The United Bassoons of Madison was founded by Isis Leonard (President and Treasurer) and Nora Hickey (Vice President and Secretary), both avid supporters of music programs and the bassoon civil rights movement. They first met in the school year of 2003- 2004, when, due to scheduling complications, both spent an hour in the library completely unsupervised and unrestrained by any teacher, librarian, or staff member. |
